I needed to make a thank you card for my friend who is having us all round to hers in a couple of weeks (finally we can all see each other indoors!) so ended up with the 3 above elements to put on my card.
I love this scooter stamp set I have but have hardly used it so decided this would fit under ‘travel’; as I don’t have matching dies for the set, then I decided to use the stamp for a background and this would mean I’d have to use masking.
I somehow lost my pictures of the process but basically stamped and cut out a few masks from post-it tape to use when I stamped multiple scooters on the background. I then used my promarkers to colour the scooters in
I wanted a bit less blank space as I hadn’t made a pattern of any kind so picked a smaller stamp (the three curved squares) and again using the masks, stamped a few in the background in a light blue ink

I then used more stamps from the set to create smoke clouds and some flames; I coloured in and hand-cut these out. I also stamped the sentiment “scooting by to say” missing off the “hi” part and heat embossed with clear powder.
I then used the alphabet dies to cut out the words “Nice One” (basically a way we say ‘thanks’ up here) from green and blue card scraps then stacked them on top of each other for some dimension. These then were stuck onto the smoke clouds.

I rounded the corners then before I mounted onto a 6 x 6 card base I swiped some of the blue ink (from the background) to make a frame around the panel.

I used double-sided tape to adhere the panel to the card then stuck the clouds/flames on with foam tape.
Finally I added a couple of Nuvo drops.

Hoping my friend will like this! Thanks for looking 🙂
